We know what kills AI projects.
We build what survives.

Taqi is the trade name of Taqwatch Systems LLC, a Texas company. We place Embedded Operators inside teams to advise on important objectives and, when the engagement calls for it, help put the changes into practice. That means we live in the unglamorous middle of it: the legacy systems, the procurement, the politics, and the difference between a recommendation that impresses a room and one that survives a Monday.

We weigh business outcomes and technical feasibility equally. That is the whole philosophy. Most AI initiatives fail one of those tests, which is why they stall in a slide deck. Ours are built to pass both, which is why they ship.

Jonathan Vallejo

Founder / Embedded Operator

Jonathan Vallejo is Taqi's founder and an Embedded Operator. Over more than 25 years, he has worked across software engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success. That experience taught him to see business and technology as parts of the same operating system.

He works directly alongside client teams to understand how the work actually happens, identify what stands between an objective and meaningful progress, and help put the right changes into practice. His approach is practical, candid, and grounded in a simple belief: the best solution is the one the organization can actually operate and sustain.

What we hold to:

Outcomes Before Output

We measure the work by what changes for the client, not by the volume of presentations, prototypes, or meetings we produce.

Get Close to the Work

We learn how the work actually happens. That includes the systems, constraints, metrics, and people behind it.

Build for Monday

We favor recommendations and solutions that survive contact with real operations, not ideas that only work in a presentation or demo.
