Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 15, 2026

This policy explains what personal information Taqwatch Systems LLC, doing business as Taqi (“Taqi”, “we”, “us”), collects through taqi.io, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than boilerplate.

1. Who we are

Taqwatch Systems LLC is a limited liability company formed in the State of Texas, United States. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us about anything in this document at privacy@taqi.io.

2. What we collect

Information you choose to give us

If you submit the contact form on this site, we collect the information you put into it:

If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in that email.

Information collected automatically

This site is hosted by Netlify. Like essentially every web host, Netlify's servers record technical information when a page is requested, which may include your IP address, the page requested, timestamp, referring page, and your browser's user agent string. We use this only to operate and secure the site.

3. What we do not do

We think this section matters as much as the one above:

4. How we use what we collect

We use the information you submit for exactly one purpose: to read your message and reply to you about a potential or existing engagement. We use server log data to keep the site running, diagnose errors, and investigate abuse. That is the whole list.

5. Who else touches it

We keep this deliberately short. Our service providers are:

Each is bound by its own agreement to process the data on our instructions. We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or where necessary to establish or defend legal claims.

6. How long we keep it

We keep contact form submissions and related email correspondence for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our business relationship, and then delete them when they no longer serve that purpose. Host server logs are retained on our provider's standard schedule. If you want your inquiry deleted sooner, just ask.

7. Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. We describe our technical measures in more detail on our Security page. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act; residents of other states and of the EEA and UK may have comparable rights under their own laws.

Regardless of where you live or whether a given law technically applies to us, if you email privacy@taqi.io and ask us to show you or delete what we have, we will do it. We will not discriminate against you for asking. We may need to verify your identity first, which normally just means replying from the address you contacted us with.

9. International visitors

We are based in the United States and our service providers process data in the United States. If you contact us from outside the U.S., you are sending your information to the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

10. Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will make that clear rather than quietly editing the text.

12. Contact

Questions, requests, or complaints about privacy go to privacy@taqi.io. We handle these by email; we do not maintain a public mailing address for privacy correspondence.
